Rachel is a Family Nurse Practitioner at CommWell Health’s Tar Heel location. She joins our team and brings over 12 years of nursing care/experience. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working in multiple environments including Neurology, Orthopedics, and Women’s Health.
Rachel began her education in Jackson, TN where she received her LPN certificate in 2009. She received her Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's of Nursing degree with a specialty in Family Medicine in North Carolina.
She is currently certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She also maintains her membership through AANP in order to stay up to date on the most recent advances and updates in healthcare.
Rachel enjoys providing care to those with acute and chronic illnesses. She is also well versed in contraceptive management and family planning. In the future, she is excited to take on additional skills including IUD placement and removal, toenail removal, and joint injections.

Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and incredibly adorable pups! She enjoys spending time outside and being on the water. She loves updating her home and finishing up DIY projects.
