Gerber Good Start SoothePro Infant Formula Recalled

Perrigo Company PLC. is voluntarily Gerber® Good Start® SoothePro™ 12.4 oz, Gerber® Good Start® SoothePro™ 19.4 oz and Gerber® Good Start® SoothePro™ 30.6 oz infant formulas out of an abundance of caution due to the potential presence of Cronobacter sakazakii.  The products impacted by the recall were purchased after March 5, 2023 and manufactured between January 2, 2023 and January 18, 2023. The recalled batches including Lot Codes and “use by” dates, which can be found on the bottom of the package are listed below.

Patient Safety Awareness Week 2023

Celebrate with CommWell Health Patient Safety Awareness Week (PSAW) from March 12th to 18th, 2023!


Started by the National Patient Safety Foundation, PSAW promotes the safety of patients and healthcare providers. As the burden of healthcare-associated infections is increasing, the Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI) Program promotes a resilient public health and healthcare system to keep patients safe from infections commonly spread in healthcare settings.


Healthcare providers and staff prioritize and play a critical role in protecting patients from disease and infection. This includes:


Hand hygiene,

Antibiotic stewardship,

Environmental cleaning and disinfection,

Disease reporting, and

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) source control.


WIC Formula Flexibilities

Starting March 1, 2023:

WIC FORMULA OPTIONS ARE CHANGING. Imported infant formula is no longer available for purchase with WIC benefits. Multiple sizes of Gerber and other brands are available. See the complete list here:

Enfamil ProSobee Simply Plant-Based Infant Formula Recalled

Two batches of Enfamil ProSobee Simply Plant-Based 12.9 oz powder infant formula distributed through retail stores nationwide in the U.S., Guam, and Puerto Rico have been voluntarily recalled by the company Reckitt, due to a possibility of cross-contamination with Cronobacter sakazakii. The impacted products were manufactured between August 2022 and September 2022. The recalled batches can be identified by the numbers on the bottom of the can ZL2HZF and ZL2HZZ with UPC Code 300871214415, and with a “Use By Date” of “1 Mar 2024.”
