Education: Dr. Bradford earned a BS degree from Tuskegee University in 1986 in biology. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University-COM in 1993. Her initial internship was Internal Medicine in the Army at Fort Gordon, GA at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center. She started her residency in Family practice in Fayetteville, NC and completed the residency at Southern Regional Medical Center-Duke affiliate in Fayetteville, NC in 2001. Prior to medical school Dr. Bradford completed 100 hours in medical administration fro Central Michigan University.
Memberships: Member in good standing with American Medical Association, and American Academy of Family Practice. Board eligible in Family practice. Certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Clinical Interest: Dr. Bradford is a licensed family practice physician in the state of North Carolina with over 20 years experience. Her expertise is in medical management and can do with professionalism per protocol, minor procedures when necessary such as simple sutures, simple suture removal, minor incision and drainage of abscesses not on head or neck, evaluation and treatment of simple skin rashes, EKG interpretations, plain film x-ray preliminary readings, and simple joint infections or heel injections. She is also able to remove non-complicated IUD’s. he refers out most toenail removals to the Podiatry specialist.
Patient Care Philosophy: As a physician, Dr. Bradford is interested in assisting patients in attaining their optimal healthy state; and maintaining this through healthy lifestyle changes, periodic check-ups, education, treatment modalities and referrals as necessary. She tries hard to advocate for all patients and attempts to understand how their story, family history and circumstances contribute to their present state of health.
Interest/Hobbies: Dr. Bradford enjoys traveling across the United states and abroad, reading uplifting books and biographies, swimming and long walks in a scenic park.
