Education: Bachelors degree in Sociology from UNC-Pembroke; Masters of Art in Mental Health Counseling at Webster University. Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), Masters in Addiction Counseling (MAC), Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS), and recently passed the state board exam to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Special Interest: Ms. Jackson has over ten years experience working with individuals with substance abuse and mental health disorders. Her experience with substance use is Methadone Maintenance treatment, Community base settings, in-home provider, along with residential settings. My therapeutic orientation to date is: Solution brief focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Motivational interviewing, and Choice therapy.
